"MEMOIRES EN IMAGES", EGUILLES From the 10 to October 19, exhibition of photographs about Eguilles, room Mistral in the city hall: varnishing Friday October 10 with 18h30 where will be presented
the book "memories in images, Eguilles" published by Marie and Gilbert
Barles of the photo workshop of Eguilles. It acts of a work of 128
pages which leaves the beautiful share with the image primarily. The
exposure, will be of scale and will be presented enlargings large size

Through an illustrated course of many images of time formerly, Marie
and Gilbert Barles wanted to recall the inheritance and the framework
of life of the beautiful village of Provence of Eguilles. Thanks to
the cordial assistance of many inhabitants, the reader will find what
were the landscapes, streets, buildings, rural life and the trade,
festivals, reflections of the past that one must not forget for better
conceiving the future. By their passion of the image and the pleasure
of living within the village, the authors had in heart to be able to
present what they regard as a "duty of memory" and to divide it with
those which will find there, for some, their youth, for others a
discovery stripped of nostalgia, but for all, they hope for it, the
feeling to smell "éguillen a little more".
